2 120GB SSDs

Hi, I have 2 120GB SSDs, and the moment i plugged it both in, it detects both as one drive, that is, 240GB of storage. My question is, is it possible to split them into 120GBs each? Because recently my CSGO has lagged in launching from a fast 10secs to now 15minutes. Even the games i put in it has slowed down in launching, dramatically. Please help!

do you need to keep the data? is that your boot drive? is there less the 40GB free space on the combined drive?

Nop, its my gaming drive. I am guessing that the SSD is asleep after sometime. There is 90GB space left of 240GB.

I asked about the free space because ssd's slow down as they fill and thought that may be a reason.
if you do not need the data on the drive there is an easy way.
turn off the computer
unplug the power from one of the SSD's
reboot the computer and partition the ssd still attached
shutdown
plug in the drive
reboot and partition the second SSD

Hm. Okay, so what you mean is to unplug my second disk, then partition my first disk so when i plug in the second it wont read as a single SSD?

If 2 drives apear as one, this means they are configured in raid 0 mode.
If you want to split them back to 2, you have to break raid array.
Operation is data destructive - so backup before breaking raid.

RAID mode usually is not the default one.
Somebody had to set it up, to work.
