Okay, I'm worried I've confused myself on which Power Supply I should get for my build. I'm hoping you wonderful people could be of assistance. Lol. Parts consist of:
ASUS M5A97 R2.0 Motherboard
AMD FX8320 CPU
Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO
Gigabyte R9 280X OC Windforce
2 x 4GB sticks of Klevv Fit RAM
Adata SSD for the OS (undecided on an HDD)
Corsair SPEC-01 case

From everything I've read, the R9 280X is a power-hungry card, as is the CPU when overclocked. I'll be doing some slight overclocking on the CPU and maybe the GPU down the road so I'd like to leave some headroom. I was hoping to stay around $50 but I've looked at so many threads that have freaked me out about almost anything in that range. Is 650W a good choice power-wise?

This is my top choice at the moment. Any feedback and advice would be awesome. This is my first build, so go easy. Haha.

Thanks for the replys. I'm going the AMD route mostly because I found a great deal on the CPU itself. Also, from everything I've seen and read, it should do everything I need it to! What's the advantage of the G2 vs the G1?

Awesome. I'd love to just buy something cheap, but I've read horror stories about those. So I'm definitely willing to spend the extra cash on something nice.
Also, am I right in choosing the R9 280X over a 4gb GTX 760 SC?

Perhaps I should start a new thread for this, but I'll ask here anyway. I found a pretty great deal on a PNY Gtx960 4gb. Should I still stick with the 280X? I haven't been able to find much about this particular brand.

280X beats the GTX 960.
