What will happen if power failure happens during OS installation?

I don't have a UPS so I am asking this. What if I was installing OS & the power goes out? Will it damage my hardware components?

Will my SSD get corrupted? Please tell because Where I live power cuts are frequent and random and currently I don't have any money to buy a UPS. :/

It's unlikely to physically damage anything, but you will probably have to restart the installation.
If you have data on the SSD (or HDD) that you want to preserve you should back it up before installing a new OS (I usually don't, but should).
