Hi

I have no experience with building computers, could someone tell me if getting a second GTX 670 would function with full efficiency, not bottlenecking my CPU, PSU or RAM (main reason for this upgrade is rendering)

Intel R Core TM i7-3770 quad core (eight with multi threading) 3.40ghz

One GTX 670

16GB RAM

Gx 750 WATT powersupply

p8 z77 V-pro Motherboard

Thanks in advance

SLI doesnt scale to well with video editing vs a single powerful card. It also strongly depedns on the application. Go to the forums of the software youre using and see what others have done.

As a cover all bases and less heat n hassle id stongly suggest flogging the 670 on ebay and getting the best GPU you can afford. The rest of your system is fine. Although another 16gm of RAM might be something to consider.

thank you for the response.
I will get a new gpu then. with that said I have a technical question.

In rendering (3d with blender) it would make sense to me that the result would be near if not 200%. isnt the two seperate gpus can render seperate frames, hence should have no reduction in capabilities ( please do explain if I am wrong)

thanks again
