If that's a laptop or prebuilt (or any board really), you will have to check on the manufacturer's website to see if the Core 2 Quad is supported and you have the correct Bios. Sometimes they are intentionally limited because of power or thermal design.

I have tried to check their website but nothing. it is a hp pro prebuilt
