Hello, I've just built my first pc but I'm running into an issue where I cannot install my drivers. I have an ASUS Z170-AR motherboard and I'm running Windows 7.

I've tried loading the drivers onto a USB drive, and while the drive is recognized in BIOS, it doesn't show up anywhere in Windows (computer/device manager). I've tried using an optical drive which has the same issue, shows in BIOS, no luck in Windows. I thought maybe I could just get them straight from the internet but unfortunately my Ethernet port needs drivers to work. I've tried multiple USB drives in all the USB ports (3.0/2.0) and I'm unsure of what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
Load the drivers to a spare internal HDD or burn them to a cd/dvd if possible. Common problem with Intel 100 series chipsets and Windows 7.
