Personally I would have recommended a gtx 970 since you can run it with that PSU, but since your budget is lower, you might look at running an r9 380 on this psu (not extremely recommended) or just getting the gtx 960 which is slightly less powerful than the r9 380 but will run on your psu without a problem.

Is it worth getting a new processor like the I5 4690k? Because the 2.66 clock on the 920 is a little low and I find overclocking on this board very confusing. Is it worth getting a new cpu, does anyone know an overclock setup on this baord?

Lets say i have £250 for that budget surley i could afford a good cpu and decent mobo to support a 750ti? Or is it better to just jump straight to a better gpu?

If you want to play games you have to upgrade the GPU, not the CPU, so you either upgrade GPU + CPU or just GPU. No point in upgrading just the CPU, you won't get much, not to mention that anything below 300 pounds will perform at best - slightly better than yours.

That comment of course is assuming you're running at stock clocks , I wrongly assumed your biostar board is low quality but it seems not.
Get that 920 up to 3.5ghz & it'll power a 960 or 380 just fine.

With your PSU I'd honestly look at a 4gb 960 rather than the 380.
