Power Supply selection on high end pc

Hi
I am here becouse i am building high-end(for myself its lot of money on pc so i think i can say that) but i am kinda amateur about power supply ...
SPECS :
CPU : Intel Core i7-4790K
GPU : MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G
Motherboard : MSI 970 GAMING
Cooler (CPU) : Cooler Master Hyper 212+ EVO
SSD : Samsung 850 EVO 120GB
HDD : WD Black 1000GB 64MB cache
RAM : Kingston 8GB KIT DDR3 1600MHz CL10
+ monitor: :24 "BenQ GW2470H

How much W i need to run this stable... but of course i need it to be for reasonable money( for me under 100 euros). And if its possible it would be nice if it wouldnt be as loud as plane if you know what i mean...
I appreciate every reaction to this.

i need to point out that your motherboard is not for yur cpu. that is an amd motherboard and you will need an intel motherboard for that i7 cpu. you will want a z97 motherboard to overclock that unlocked cpu. figured you needed to know this :)

as for the psu, if you can give me a store you can shop at in your country i will skim it and point out a couple top quality units for you. no sense pointing out models we get in the US if you can't get them in your country or they cost crazy amounts. i know the prices and availability change from country to country. i can also skim for a z97 mobo for you if you wish :)

500w is plenty of power for that build but often higher wattage units are the same price and may be a better deal.

looking around a bit . here are a couple mobo's for you to consider.

the msi gaming 5 is a solid mid range board with lots of features. i have one paired with a 4690k and love it. https://www.alza.co.uk/msi-z97-gaming-5-d1530091.htm?catid=18855027

if you want a bit more high end features here is a good choice, the asus z97-a which is a solid overclocker and a well respected board. https://www.alza.co.uk/asus-z97-a-d1481451.htm?catid=18855027

as for power supply, here is what i found around the same price. each is plenty of power and high quality. in order from worst to first. all are around 75 pounds.

prices quickly go up to 100 pounds from there but any of these is a solid choice. i'd go for the G2 or the seasonic one for the modular over the GS myself but i thought i'd throw it in for comparison sake.

earlier in this post someone said i should go for 650 + W supply ,, but from the three you posted here i would like to go for seasonic .. price is almost same

the gaming 3 is fine as well. only spares a couple of features. really i don't use half of what the gaming 5 can do :) but dang does it look cool in the case!!!! biggest difference is the power delivery for overclocking the cpu. the gaming 3 will have less power delievery and thus won't oc as high and be stable than the gaming 5 which has less power delivery than the asus z97-a. that is really what the extra money is for. if you're good with a moderate oc then the gaming 3 is good enough.

as for power needs 500w is plenty enough even with overclocking. these 500w and above choices are all top quality and will easily handle any oc you can hand it with that system. seasonic makes some of the best psu's out there and they also make the EVGA G2 models so basically they are both great quality. the 620w one is nice and in the middle for power plus it's modular which is a great feature for cable management. can't go wrong with that choice.

I guess i would go for these two and my last question about RAM... i will buy 8 gb (2x4) HyperX Fury savage/blue ... like i dont know there is 1600mhz 1866 mhz 2400 mhz 2133 mhz i dont really know which to pick ...

glad i could help. i'm pretty sure the hyper 212 evo will fit into the source 340 case. that is really the only piece to worry about as it is rather tall. specs say the case will fit a 161 mm tall cooler and the 212 evo is only 159 mm so it'll clear :)

and that ram is fine as well. that's the specs i go for cl9 and 1600 speed for best bang for the buck.

enjoy the new gaming monster.
