I'm looking for a monitor with the specs in the title. Anyone found one or recommend one?

I'm yet to find one that meets all of the specs. The closest I've found is this 27" monitor http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00M913DVG/ref=psdc_428652031_t2_B00WK39NXK,
but I'm not sure if I want one that large for PC gaming where my head is fairly close to the screen.

I am currently gaming on a 24" 1080p 60Hz monitor, a size I am fine with, so am unsure if 27" may be a bit too big.

Thanks for your help

Toby

at 1440p getting a monitor smaller then 27" is a waste as the human eye will have a great deal of difficulty distinguishing between 1440p and 1080p at desktop distances in sizes smaller then 27"

remember though, 1440p at 120hz is just as hard on your gpu as 4k at 60hz, so make sure you have the horses for that.
i have the exact monitor you linked

for the price i am really pleased with it--colours are fantastic

i got 27 intended for games but actually find its fantastic for productivity you can open 2 full browser windows side by side which i couldnt on a 24 with 1080p

wouldnt strictly say its a gamers monitor but for all round use at the price i cant fault it

Thanks for your feedback, would you say 27" isn't too big for PC gaming at a desk then?

Vari focals? How does something you wear narrow your FOV from your eyes?

damned if i know lol you would need to ask an optician or look it up

but basically these have 3 vision ranges in them--reading--computer--and distance

and even if you look at the lenses really closely all you can see is a couple of tiny diamond shapes

not like bi-focals where you can clearly see a line across them separating reading and distance

Thanks, quite interesting

no problem and like i said for the price got no complaints at all with the monitor

just dont use the low blue light setting might be less strain on your eyes but it doesnt do much for the colours

its not a fault with the monitor all the ones that do low blue light do the same
