i just bought my new flash drive the corsair voyager go 64gb version and its pretty slow for a usb 3.0 so i tried to format it to exfat with allocation 4096 kilobytes to see if it helps but still the same speed (around 15 mb/s). i am using lenovo y50-70 with the 5400 rpm sshd 1tb (wdc wd10s21x-24r1bt0-sshd-8gb) , i also tried the usb 2 port on my laptop it gives me same results around 15 mb/s i also tried my brothers lenovo y580 same speed (st1000lm024 hn-m101mbb). i want to believe it is a usb driver problem so i searched for and update on the internet but couldnt find any so if anyone could give me a driver update setup or tell me what the problem is and how to fix it i would really appreciate it . P.S yes i know that my sshd is slow but come on not that slow its usb3.0 here people .

can you explain more ?!

USB3 is the highway speed but does not tell you how fast the cars you put in it can go.

Flash drives have different speed ratings, which they don't advertise to you up front, you have to dig for the information, and priced accordingly.

I can testify how awesome these are - I have been using one to transfer steam games between computers. From memory it was consistently writing somewhere around 200MB/s

yeah the new version can do 245MBs and 190MBs read and write for around £30 for 64gb unbelievable speed for that price really
