First time pc builder here I am confident in most of my components i picked. Now it comes down to my motherboard. id like to stay in the 1k range, I can afford the higher end one but id like to still stay closer to that 1k mark. I am using this for my regular browsing, gaming, livestreaming and graphic design work. I don't know much about overclocking or if I will ever do that. I don't know much about differences in motherboards

Motherboards:
-MSI Computer ATX DDR4 Motherboard Z170A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM EDITION $300
-MSI 970 GAMING DDR3 2133 ATX AMD Motherboard $99

The rest of the build:

Hard drive: WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6 Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD10EZEX
Processor: Intel I7-4790k

Hi, I've made some build for you here - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Hk6r3C
- I7 4790, if you don't want to oc, you can stick with I5, but I7 will help you a lot in rendering
-for the gpu i've chosen the GTX 980, if you want something cheaper i would get r9 390, Nvidia one from Asus / Evga and Radeon from Sapphire / Asus
you've got there 1TB for data and 120GB ssd from samsung, for your OS, i've got one too, and the speeds are just amazing, from BIOS it takes only 2-3 seconds, if you don't install there anything else
-16GB ram for rendering, you don't need any high clocks here with intel chip
-the motherboard is pretty cheap, but you don't need any high-end mobo for this build
- 650W + 80gold ... just to stay safe and for any upgrades...

On this PC you can run everything maxed out without any problems ... I hope I've helped and I'm sorry for any mistakes in my english :/
