Do you have a specific budget or range in mind? It would help settle for something that fits your needs. Also, what kind of work do you plan on doing exactly?

no budget and I would want something that can handle a little bit of everything from rendering, computing, editing....etc...etc.

Normally, I would recommend an Intel Xeon processor, however, you mentioned wanting to use DDR4, and there are no Xeons currently compatible with DDR4. Your next best option would probably be the Intel I7-6700. Something like this :

Of course there are places where you could either cut the price or improve on, for a price. The case doesn't have optical drive bays, so you could want a different case.

The Xeon E5-XXXX V3 family do support DDR4.

You're totally right. I just realised I was really outdated in recent Xeons, the E5 V3s didn't even come to my mind. Nevermind what I said, and I realised that I might as well show something more pricey, then you can upgrade/downgrade, according to your real needs. It might be obvious, but workstation builds aren't my specialty, but I still want to try and help you, since weren't any other answers when I started writing this message.
