Yesterday while browsing chrome i got an bluescreen with kerner_data error and my computer restarted (i have no idea if this matters but the "collecting data" screen didn't advance from 0, it just kind of froze there). Restarting, after the boot screen, i was stuck at a screen with "select proper boot device" (not the exact words). After this i entered bios and checked the boot sequence, but it only showed 1 drive (which i assume is my HDD), the boot menu also shows only 1 drive . I can't use system refresh, restore and any other option except cmd because my drive is blocked. In trying to reinstall windows it also only showed the HDD.
I should mention that the ssd is about 6 months old and I never had any problems with it before
From these facts i can only assume the ssd is toasted and i need to replace it. It still has warranty but the process is kind of long since i have to mail it.
I want to know your input before i do that though. Is the ssd the problem? could it be a software issue? Can i do anything to fix it ? thanks in advance

Solution
At this point I would swap the cables between the ssd & hdd (with the power removed naturally) and then see if the bios detects it now. If the bios still only sees the hdd then IMO its RMA time.
