I bought TP-LINK TL-PA4010 Kit to extend my range, but it's not working. More precisely, it works for about 30 minutes to several hours, then all the lights turn off at random times. I can't seem to find a common thread, but from what I've read in other forums it seems this product does not work well within older homes due to the way electrical wiring was done back then. Note that my home was built in the 70's I believe.

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

You could check and see what wireless channels are being used in your vicinity, change the channel on your wireless extension to the leased used one. Try to raise the extension as high off the ground as you can, too.
