Hi,
I have AsRock A55M-HVS motherboard with A-DATA 4GB AD3U1333C4G9-B and another 2GB of the same type. My motherboard recognizes the full 6GB of RAM, but it says it operates on single-channel and uses only 4GB. My question is how can I make it work on Dual-Channel, I can't seem to find the option in the UEFI. Oh and 1 more thing that could be important I had the same 4GB and it was working perfectly for a week and while I was playing I got blue screen. That's when my problem came. Thank you in advance. :)

Solution
It's no use testing them knowing that they are both different. On your motherboard a 2 gb stick will never work with a 4gb stick in dual channel. Even the same sticks might not work due to incompatibility, though this is rare. Your motherboard vendor has an officially supported ram list on their website.

My other 4GB stick that I mentioned was the same as the 1 I use now, it still didn't work.

Take out the "good" 4GB and the 2GB sticks and insert the suspected "bad" 4GB stick in the slot specified in your motherboard's manual for running only 1 stick of RAM, and run Memtest86 as suggested above for several hours. You can then post a screenshot of the results here for interpretation. Memtest86 needs to be run from a cd or usb flash drive, as it does not rely on the operating system to run, so you will have to change the boot order in your BIOS to the cd/usb device.

Thank you for your suggestion, but I already made the tests with both 4GB separately, like 4 months ago and there were no errors. I think it has something to do with the motherboard.

Umm... The problem is I gave my cousin one of them, cause' he had 2x2 and we sort of exchanged 2 for 4, so now he has 6 and it's working perfectly on his mb. But mine still has problems. BTW the one he gave me is A-DATA AD3U1333C2G9-B.
I could test one 4GB and 2GB.

So that means I have to buy 2 identical sticks, supported by the motherboard. Thanks for your answer. One more thing, is there any chance you know why it started using only 4GB after I got my blue screen?
