I'm sure you have done this, but if you put them both up side by side there are only a few differences. Aside from the obvious (size) it looks like the only real difference would be the core clock speed with the EVGA card with the higher number, to be honest I've not used either card, but I have had a few MSI cards in the past and my current GPU is a MSI 970 and I really like it.

I guess it depends on if you want to overclock or what your case size constraints have for you. IMHO I'd go with MSI, but I am partial to them.
