I just got a DVI-D dual link adapter for my graphics card only to find out it doesn't work. (Yes I ordered the right one.) My question is is it possible I can use my dedicated graphics card to drive my main monitor and games, and use my integrated for my second monitor (Which is only used browsing the web while gaming.)
Specs
CPU: i7 2600k
MOBO: Asus z77m Pro
GPU: R9 290x

Thanks

page 3-23. most likely if you set IGPU as primary, it'll force it to stay enabled. the AUTO and PCIE options likely let the system disable the IGPU.

yes, you can do that 99.995% of the time. you'd need to go into your BIOS to enable the IGPU even when a PCIe GPU is installed, but once you do that it's easy. i use integrated graphics with two or three additional cards daily to run 7 or 8 monitors.
