Running an AMD 8350 clocked at 4.5 GHZ with the aforementioned video cards and an Asus pb287q 4k monitor and getting bad fps in crossfire with newer games. Should I upgrade? I have done just about everything i can think of, but pushing 20-30fps in newer games with crossfire enabled, but getting 30-40fps with only 1 gpu

The extra memory of the 980 ti will help out a lot, also its just faster so it would boost your fps a lot on 4k!
Maybe in cpu intensive games, but I rarely play those, and most games are more gpu heavy nowadays anyhow. I was looking more for someone that might have actually tried this combination, but thanks.
Also wanted to add that this is 4k, which tends to be a lot more gpu intensive than cpu intensive
