My computer was working fine then one night I started to have an issue with my computer shutting down and saying it was a issue with power surges. I replaced the power source and kept everything the same but when I when I started it up I had a solid red DRAM light.

I have owned this game for 8 months so most of the solutions suggested don't apply. If you need more info on my computer just ask.

Asus z97-AR
Intel i5
8 Gb Balistix Sport
GeForce GTX 960
Corsair CX600

I should have stated that I tried most of the basic things that are posted on this forum. I have pulled out my ram and put it back in in every single combination possible. I have confirmed it is the right ram for my MOBO. I removed the MOBO battery and put it back in. I have checked if all the power cords are correct at least 5 times.

I need original ideas, I have come and asked because I am a mere plebeian and need some computer god to give me a new idea.

It is a brand new psu. I doubt that is the issue. I am getting power to everything, would it be possible that my psu doesnt send enough power to certain parts of my psu? Would that cause my dram LED to come on?

Have a look at this thread where someone is having a similar issue as you. http:// Basically they're saying to turn off anti-surge protection in the BIOS. That sounds a little crazy to me, but apparently it helped them with their problem. Your problem may very well be due to something else.

Best of luck, bud. Please update us if you get things working again.
