Hey guys im wondering if this rig will be enough for modern titles at medium to high settings Cpu: Intel core 2 quad q9650 Mobo: gigabyte g41mt s2pt Ram: 8gb ddr3 800mhz Gpu: msi geforce gtx 670 storage: wd 500gb psu: evga 500w

That should meet your requirements, yes. At 1080p. I just finished working with an older Q9550 and a GTX 960 FTW+. It averaged 32 fps in Metro LL w/very high settings. The GTX 960 is roughly on a par with your GTX 670.
In Crysis3, I had the Q9550 OC'ed to 3.4 GHz. At High system specs, C3 ran at 56 fps avg.
So, You should be fine. The only weak link is your DDR2 memory. But I don't think that will play a big part in the performance.
