Hey guys! I have a laptop and about 120gb of storage that i want to move on new pc. Laptop has no usb 3.0 but pc has. My laptop has 500gb WD blue hard disk. Now i ask you, what is the fastest way to move files from laptop to pc. Can i put my hard disk into pc, does it have same connectors and then copy all files? What is the best way?

Solution
that is a little tricky. New computer, new drivers, parts, etc etc. You can't simple copy/clone the hd. If you are only moving pictures, documents, ect, that is simple. Either by connecting hd in that computer as 2nd hd, or by using a router, with both computers connected to it.

They should both have same connectors, you might have to buy a new Sata cord but they use same power supply connector so yes you can connect to your new pc, probably wont be able to boot off of it, just put it into a hard drive port!

Use cloud storage (MS OneDrive), External hard drive, a large flash drive, or clone the hdd to another. I would NOT just attach your hdd to the other computer especially if you have windows on that hdd. You can corrupt the files on the drive.
