computer automatically restarts once

i recently changed my motherboard as it was faulty and had problems with the pci-e slot that i am using. now everything is fine with my video card and mobo but am annoyed during startup of my computer. whenever i startup my computer first time during a period of time it will work for around 3-10 mins then automatically restart. afterwards it would work fine without restarting anymore. any idea whats the problem?

2700k i7
z77h2 a2x mobo
16 ram
gtx970
seasonic psu 700 watts

Could be your power supply. The one you're using is a horrible PSU by a horrible OEM.

Hi there jericoeric,

Try to boot into safe mode and see if the issue persists. In case it doesn't, this is most probably software related.
Do you get some sort of an error message? In case you don't, you can disable the automatic restart: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows7/ht/automatic-restart-windows-7.htm

ill switch up my psu and see if it persist this weekend. really hope its not the problem.

ill do this in the morning. i dont get any errors when it restarts. just strait black screen then restart.
