Why won't my monitor work

I just bought and installed a new power supply and everything works except when I boot up the computer nothing shows on the screen. I know it's booting correctly as my keyboard comes on, my sound works as I hear the window startup sound and I can login blindly. Just not sure why the monitor won't display anything. I've tried restarting several times and removed and replaced the ram, unplugged the hdmi from the monitor end and motherboard end. I've cycled through the inputs on the monitor and still no change. Unfortunately I don't have another monitor to test and I doubt it has an issue since it worked just hours before when I had my old power supply hooked up. Suggestions?

If you have a graphics card installed on the computer, you need to connect the monitor to the GRAPHICS, not motherboard.

If you can confirm that the cables are installed in the right place and your monitor's power is on, open the monitor's menu (read your manuals) and select the port that you have connected. If that is in the right place, try pressing Windows+P twice on your keyboard and see if that shows up.
