MOBO Dead - Need Cheaper Alternative

Hi Guys,

My Motherboard has recently broken and I have sent it for RMA back to Overlockers. However they have said that it may take up to 28 days for it to return to us which is out of a question.

So I am now in need of a cheaper/temporary MOBO. If anyone could suggest a decent mobo that would be great.

Budget, £100, give or take £25.

This is my work machine for Video Editing. Will ONLY use x2 980s instead of 3 I have (donating 3rd to another machine.

contact the mb vendor not the seller. most mb vendors with a credit card will do a cross ship. the only time you pay for a mb if it user damage. have the store return your mb or have them send you a new one or use your cc do a charge back if they wont.

The video Team will be getting a new PC so technically it will be temporary for their main machine and then moved to the new machine (with single 980).

PS: I didn't build the original rig in the OP. It was someone else who is no longer with us (as the hardware choices are questionable).

Otherwise, this is the cheapest with SLI support.
No SLI support Asrock Z97 anniversary

Will probably go for the cheaper SLI option, possibly for the one I had in the OP depending if they want to OC and what not.
