I had a system running 2x 670's in SLI on Win 8 on a dell 2711@1440
Upgraded to Win 10 and my z77x-d3h MoBo will not recognize my 2nd nvidia 670 in the (2nd pcie slot ) pcie 8x slot. The cards will work in non sli when installed in the 16x and 4x pcie slots!
After much messing about (both 670 cards work fine) I have decided its because of a lack of driver support from Gigabyte for their MoBo. My Sensai mouse caused loads of problems so that's going too lol.
For context I don't play competitively. I dont want to pay any more than about $50 to get it sorted.
So Im left with the question what should I do?
Option 1 keep the MoBo and sell the 2 x 670's to get a 1 x 970 (looked but couldn't find a benchmark for this scenario)
Option 2 Upgrade the MoBo (and therefore cpu) so I can keep the 2 670's in Sli (cost restrictive?)
Option 3 just keep the system and as it is and sell 1 of the 670's
What would you do in my situation?
