Hi all,
I have a very frustrating issue with my PC. After about 40 minutes of playing a CPU intensive game (CSGO , DOTA2)- My computer randomly decides to skip and lag frames. Even when I close out of the program the mouse stutters and lags. I go from 300fps in game to about 30-140 fluctuating. It gets worse and worse until it's unbearable.
At first I thought it was the CPU temp, but I bought a brand new CPU cooler and installed and still the same problem.
If I restart, the problem goes away. I am at a lost for solutions - my final step it to replace things one by one but if anyone has any insight or thoguhts on how to diagnose this type of problem that'd be awesome.
