Hello,

First of all, sorry for my English, it's not my mother tounge and I will probably make some grammar mistakes below.

I noticed a strange glitch when I was playing AC Syndicate, it can be seen on some buildings from a proper distance when I slowly moving camera around (most likely I would never notice it but I just wanted to admire the ambient with this slow camera rotation). As I stated above, it happens on just a few buildings in City of London district. I first saw this on the building from video, nearby Kenway's mansion.

Did anyone notice it before, is this a game problem? I recently had graphical glitches in Mafia 2 so I would love to make sure that my GPU is alright and this is just a game glitch.

Glitch on the video is visible after 35 second mark - this black flashing "things". Sorry for the quality but I wanted to just upload this quite quickly.

Building on map where I saw this (again, it is also visible on a few buildings that looks similar to this one):

This isn't anything system related!
I had similar graphical issues with this game as well!
The assassins creed franchise has hit a bit of a rock in recent years so I wouldn't be to worried if I was you. As long as your other games run fine then it should be good!
Mafia 2 is also quite an old game so I wouldn't worry about that either.
If you see the glitch in more games then I would recommend sending your card back if not then carry on gaming!

BTW: Perfect English dude!

Thank you for your reply I feel relieved that's not my GPU.

In Mafia 2 I actually had a very nasty looking glitch, like artifacts all over the place (it was unplayable), I just had to restart the game and it was fine for couple of hours. I thought my GPU is dying at first, but then I played through whole AC Rogue and Batman Arkham City (multiple hours) and it was fine. Then I installed AC Syndicate and after hours of playing I run into it coincidentally so I'm quite worried about graphical glitches now (after Mafia 2 fiasco). Also, yesterday I played GTA 5 for about 2 hours and used 3D Mark Firestrike and 3D Mark 11 - no gfx issues.

So it is definitely a game?

Thank you for your comment about my English, I appreciate it.

If there was no GFX issues in 3D mark then don't be worried! 3D mark firestrike is very graphically demanding and if there was a problem with your GPU then it would appear in 3D mark!
In my opinion it is definitely the games. If you've played other games without any issues then yh it's software not hardware. GTA 5 is very demanding as well so to not have any issues in that is very good!
The 2 games giving you issues are known trouble makers so don't worry!

As far as AC, I can't speak on Syndicate, but I will say that when AC Unity came out late 2014, there seemed to be a lot of people with trouble, and they had to do quite a bit of patching to get it right. I actually just bought Unity around Christmas 2015, and it seems to be fixed now. But that gives you an idea how many issues they had.

Ubisoft is making very decent gaming franchises. But, its games are not much optimized when it comes to pc. From, AC3 gamers have been experiencing a lot of problems even they have gaming beasts.

There is a forum about this on ubisoft, check it out:

Or you can install the latest patch v1.31 that might help. I don't there's a problem with your graphics card.try games like witcher 3 and fallout 4. if you get glitches in that too then replacing your card would be better.

Thanks for replays.

I already installed update 1.31 but unfortunately it didn't solve the issue, also I've tried all the Nvidia possible settings (MFAA OFF for instance). Maybe it's general issue but since it is visible only on some buildings in the city (mainly City Of London district), no one has ever noticed it besides me. That one building from my video seems to be most affected from a proper distance.

I don't know, it seems to be some kind of in game texture (shadows) issue related to specific type of buildings in that district.
