So, not having any problems with my GPU, but just wondering if it's maybe time to start looking into a replacement.
Most of my specs are in my signature, but I have a Thermaltake 750W modular PSU (can't remember the model offhand), & I don't OC anything, so the power shouldn't be an issue. My monitor is limited to 1600x900 resolution, so I'm primarily concerned with the sub-1080p performance benchmarks.
Gamewise, mainly play Halo:CE, BF4, Starcraft II, & EDF: Insect Armageddon, but while I've only somewhat considered the new Star Wars Battlefront I'm really leaning towards getting Civilization: Beyond Earth. Both games, I've noticed, would start putting me into the sub-50 FPS performance bracket...not to mention that they're starting to get a little old.
For personal preferences & experiences, I'd prefer sticking with AMD products. I know I don't need anything like the Fury X (or even the Fury Nano), & even an R9 390/390X would most likely be overkill (especially with 8GB of VRAM). I'm just wondering if I should consider waiting for the Polaris line to come out later this year, or go with an R9 380 -- & if I go with the latter, should I spring for the 4GB model or stick with 2GB?
