I need to know if I can mix or used 4gb single stick of corsair vengeance 1600mhz with 8gb single stick of Kingston hyper X 1866 MHz ?

I will be using with i3-4150, h81m-k or gigabyte b85m-hd3 with local casing n 300 watts sea sonic or 400 watts China psu local.

So can it work or will I have issues. Need to run in 1600mhz.
Not going to Oc, as I don't know how anyway.

If it works will it become dual channel or remain as single channel for both.

Does 8gb only helps when playing game no or designing. Or will it helps in regular normal work, n watching full hd movies.
Or if 4 gb is fine , if these cant be mixed on the same board.

Mixing memory is usually a bad idea, ram problems can be a huge pain to deal with and stability might well be effected. I would recommend just going for the single stick of hyperx, 8gb should be enough. It might work, but I would stay, stay away. Perhaps you could try it and see what happens
