I have a slight problem here. This is my first post so please bare with me. I have been trying to connect to a business network for weeks now and have gotten absolutely nowhere. My Iphone connects to the same private network with the password and username...no problem at all. But when I try to connect my laptop I get told that it is unable to connect to the network. I thought I put in the wrong password and user name but it is going in correctly. Now, I am able to connect to the guest network but that is not a secure network...and the signal is not a powerful either. I have tried refreshing my wireless, changed the output from auto to 20mhz. I tried reinstalling my network card...and did not help either. I even turned off my firewall and virus protection thinking that was hindering the connection. So, I am at a loss at this point. I also have the other problem of not having access to the main router because it is at an offsite location from where I am. So, its not like I can reboot the router. What am I missing.....anything would be appreciated.

There are other requirements and factors involved.
If the guest network is not secure enough for your needs then you need to call the network administrator to get permission to have your laptop on the private network as well.
Really nothing can be done without getting such permissions.
And then the network administrator can help set up the laptop accordingly. Maybe walk you through the set up if on-site is not viable.
