Hello
As the title says, I need to know how faster or better is the DDR4 memory compared to the 1600Mhz. I'm by no means a professional power user enthusiast. I'm basically play games, of all kinds, so to say. But, I recently came across an i5-4440 CPU, and a GA-B85M-D2V motherboard for free. I was planning on a brand new build, but, by keeping this CPU, I can save around 350euros, instead of buying a new Skylale build, especially because they are quite expensive at the moment. So, is it worthy to upgrade to DDR4? My specs aren't the highest end, but, If I keep this CPU, I will be able to afford a GTX980ti or a new High End Pascal GPU when they are launched. And, would a GTX980ti bottleneck the i5? I hear that some games already recommend i5-4460 as a minimum requirement.
All the help and tips are greatly appreciated.
Best Regards
