Windows 10 says internal hard drive is external.

I am trying to install windows 10 apps onto my 1tb wd blue hard drive, but it keeps saying that i can not install apps onto external hard drives. My other hard drive i use is a crucial ssd 240gb

I'd recommend you to try using a different SATA port with the WD Blue and also try plugging it with a different SATA cable. I'd also suggest you go to your motherboard manufacturer's website and make sure you have the latest SATA controller and chipset drivers for your model. Giving the BIOS reset a try might also be a good idea, it would get your BIOS settings back to factory defaults which could help with the proper detection of the HDD.

MOBO: gigabyte z97 hd3
CPU: i5 4690k
RAM: 16GB hyperx fury black
GPU: MSI GTX 980
MEM: 240gb crucial ssd, 1Tb WD Blue

I switched to a different SATA cable and port, and it fixed my problem
