Hi, I have a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R, and a Intel Core i7 950, and when under load, CPUID HWmonitor is reading about 7GHz. I know that bloomfield cannot make that under any circumstances, so i need to know if my motherboard is okay. I am running at fully stock settings.

Check cpuz and see what it says. I doubt there is anything wrong with your mobo. Third party software is just not compatible with all hardware.
