so, I recently changed from an AMD motherboard to in intel motherboard, in specific, the GA-Z97P-D3, I re-installed windows 10, refreshed the PC etc, but when the PC booted, it booted off the on-board graphics, I checked everything in the BIOS, tried using a different PCI slot, tried re-installing all the drivers needed, but the Nvidia installer just comes up saying that it cannot find the hardware; the GTX 760, and so cannot install the drivers as it doesn't meet the requirements.

looking through the device manager, even on "show hidden devices" it doesn't show the GTX 760 anywhere, the only thing it shows is the on-board graphics, my GPU is the Asus GTX 760 DirectCU II, I spent a few hours searching different things on google, but couldn't find anything of use, the power light is showing, GPU fan is moving perfectly fine, does anybody know what could be the issue, and how to fix it?

I swapped it into the other lane, their is one for PCIe x 16 and one x 4, neither of which work
