Hi to everyone,
today i bought a new pair of RAM and tried to install them, but failed. To be more specific:
-With both of them on the mb(double checked for the right positions, also tried both on different or same channel etc):
I wasn't able to boot, not even enter bios(just black screen)

-With a single stick(tried all the positions): I was able to enter bios. I tried to boot but the booting screen of windows or ubuntu (dual boot) just freezes.

I updated the bios and tried some changes on it:
-From auto-set to 1.5 and 1.55 volts
-From auto-set to 1333MHz and 1066MHz

My mb seems to support the frequency and the capacity. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your time!

new RAM: 2*muskin silverline 991770

specs:
mb: AsRock H55DE3
cpu: Intel i5-655k
old RAM: 4*Kingston KVR1333D3N9K2/2G
gpu: ASUS ENGTS450
power supply: Lamtech ATX-700W
ssd: Kingston SSDNOW 300

I tried each of the sticks individually. Then, I was able to enter the bios but windows would freeze at the starting screen. Same for ubuntu (where I was able to enter my password first before freezing). The sticks were in individual packages. Does this matter (since they are identical)? The model is mushkin silverline 991770 (4gb each stick).

I 've updated and resseted but nothing changed. After searching for a couple of hours I also believe it's a compatibility issue. However, since frequency, timings, capacity and volts are compatible, what else should i check before choosing?
