Hello guys I have a hp h8-1400el, the oem motherboard got fried because I played with the ram timings and multiplayer, since it's fried I will buy a new case and a new motherboard can you please tell me if my configuration will work. +If I buy a new mobo and I put the old ram that got modded timings with Intel xtrme tuning utily will that kill also my new mobo? Do I need new ram ?
Well here is configuration:
CPU: Intel i5-3470 socket LGA 1155 (It's from HP)
Mobo: I had a IPMMB-FM (Formosa) mobo made by pegatron but it got fried so I will buy a gigabyte one, the Formosa had z75 chipset, I found Gigabyte GA-Z97M-DS3H that works with my socket but it has different chipset. Will that cause problems?
PSU: Thermatake hamburg 530 w
GPU: MSI r9 380 4GB
Case: Aerocool XPredator X1 Black Edition
HDD: WD 1TB Blu 2012 (HP ONE)
RAM: Hyndai something 2x4GB 1,33(HP one, got modded timings and multiplayer on the old mobo)
Will this work? I hope it will

My pc turns on, fans spin and leds turn on... no video signal they told me ram is fine and mobo is dead? How I can test that?
Edit: I mean I want to build a new pc using few old hp parts such as cpu and ram... the rest is going to be purchased so I'm asking if that configuration will work fine... I don't mean only about the ram... I mean about the case, psu and GPU...

Plug the RAM into another Motherboard and run everything at stock speeds.

Perhaps also try running MEMTest if you are able to boot, just to be sure.

*edit*

I have known some manufacturers to use proprietary hardware that only fits inside of its intended case. I can't really answer that one with confidence.
