I don't have experience with RAID technology but i would like to know this:
for example if i use raid 10 with 4 HDD like 2 in A section and 2 in B section (mirror) then if i want to upgrade in 3 A with 3 B (mirror) and maybe in the future 4 A with 4 B (mirror) is it possible without loosing data or i have to format the disks?

I'm planning to use this RAID Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816103231

Is it good for the RAID 10 Array that i mention with 2TB disks?

what is this PCI connector type: "4-Lane PCIe Gen2" for specific motherboard?

it says that it has Online Capacity Expansion so it should be able to but either way ALWAYS backup your data before doing so! A RAID 10 is a bit easier to upgrade than a RAID 5 or 6 but then also a lot of high end cards can upgrade RAID's 0 1 5 and 6 but NOT 10 50 60. Won't know until the times comes honestly.

And that is a good RAID card.

that is a just a PCIe port that is at least a 4x or more and is a Generation 2 PCIe.

Any PC built in the past 5 years or so will have this.

You can put it in an older PC with a Gen 1 PCIe it will just run slower but honestly for what you are doing you won't see that bottle neck with using normal HDD's.

How the upgrade process is i mean to add more HDD to RAID Array? just plug HDD to RAID Card and RAID controller will split the data into the new array set or i have to do that with some software?

in the card i mention there are 2 SFF internal connectors and as i know 1 SFF can connect to 4 SATA HDD. for RAID 10 i have to connect 2 on first SFF connector and 2 on second SFF or all 4 HDD on 1 SFF?
