Hi I have an Education RM MOBILE ONE 310 (Socket 989) with Intel Core i3 370M @ 2.40GHz Arrandale 32nm Technology motherboard and 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 524MHz (7-7-7-20) memory. I am running Hyper-V on it. I want to upgrade the RAM. Just want to know what is the upper ceiling for RAM.

According to your product's specification page the maximum ram allocated for your system can be 4GB i.e, 2x2GB as you have two slots worth populating. I'm curious though did you get your system with 8GB to begin with? Intel's specification page says a different story with a maximum memory support of 8GB.

Many thanks for your reply. The laptop had 2GB RAM when I bought it. Out of curiosity, I have upgraded it to 2x4GB and it booted up fine. I am using it since 11/2 years and have no issues.
I am working on Windows Server 2012 R2 with MDT 2013, WDS, WSUS, DNS, DHCP all on one Hyper-V and it is working flawlessly. I want a powerful mobile workstation for demonstration. So thought I would upgrade this machine and try see how far I can be successful. Proposal is 16GM RAM and 2TB HDD.
My next move is to integrate GNS3 with 12-13 workstations on Hyper-V. Planning to do my CCNP R&S and CCNP Security on it.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
