Problems after updating

I have been using YU yuphoria 5010 since 3 months and it is a quiet decent phone......
But 2 days ago an update file of 262.74 mb was made available to my phone...... I updated it , but after updating it the semi HD and HD videos are not running smoothly .... I tried to play it through different players .... Including MX player..... It doesn't run smoothly in s/w decoder and doesn't run in h/w decoder....
My phone is simply android powered and it doesn't have cyanogen....
Please help me....

You would need to contact your service provider that pushed the update (if it was a system update that is), seems like there is an issue with whatever got installed. You may need to wait for a patch or do a factory reset to how it was when new (that will wipe all files on the internal storage so do a backup before trying that).
