Ok so my router is connect to my PC with a really long Ethernet cord. And my xbox one is right next to my computer with no cord so I lag a lot. I wanted to know if I connect a HDMI cord to my xbox to PC to get wired connection to my xbox one.

That isn't remotely how that works. You can put a small unmanaged network switch at the end of that "really" long network cord to uplink it to your router and plug your xbox and pc into that switch. Easy, cheap solution to your problem
