I just finished builing my pc and found a problem right away and the pause was making a buzzing sound and would restart in 10 seconds and turns back on right away and my Paul is 750 gold from evga and should not do this
This honestly sounds like a motherboard issue, especially if you're not getting a visual and hearing a buzzing sound. Something is definitely not adjusting power correctly. I would RMA the board and get a new one.
Are you seeing a blue screen before it restarts or does it just restart?
Did you put riser screws under the motherboard for the build? If you're hearing a buzzing sound it sounds like power isn't being allocated the right way.
Also if unplug the cpu power there's no sound and I don't think the sound is coming from the power supply but it shuts off after 5 seconds it sounds like it's coming from the gpu
If your system is intel take out your video card and press memok and clear the cmos. (remember to connect the hdmi on the mobo).
If it works, then put in your video card (remember to connect the hdmi to the one on the video card).
If your system is AMD and not the APU version, press memok and clear the cmos.
Hopefully your system would turn on with no problems, otherwise it's probably something to do with your graphic card or mobo.
I did all that and no sound but it still restarts after 5-10 seconds. Once I put the gpu back in everything is still the same as before. Dour you think I need to return the motherboard for a new one?
