Is this a good wifi card?

Solution
Don't worry about it not being PCI-E, that's just overkill.

It will work fine, if you are on Win10, you might be able to use Win 8 drivers for a while, or look around for 3rd party drivers. ( I had to use 3rd party drivers for my soundcard for a couple of months when I switched to Win 10)

Personally I kinda favor the Asus, but all three are pretty good choices.

*edit* to be fair most of your devices are plug and play with Windows 10.

I find Win 10 to be actually really good at auto downloading your drivers.

If your internet connection is fast enough to take advantage of the extra speeds, yes.

But since I know you live in Australia, I know the fastest internet we can get is 100mbps. (if you are FttP NBN)

So you will never really be able to fully saturate the wifi card. it's faster than your internet.

It will not improve your Internets speeds.
