Question of GPU temps

I am upgrading to the MSI Radeon r9 390 from AMD. It's temp under load is about 78 degrees celcius. I'm concerned that my airflow might not be enough.

I have a corsair C70 case. It has pretty great airflow imo. I have 4 120 mm fans in exhaust and intake configs.

The rediculous Texas heat really concerns me, as it can heat the house. We have two seasons: Summer and Less-Summer.

My current card is a PNY GTX 770 Enthusiast Edition.

Will my new card be at risk? Thank you.

Solution
Well for the r9 390. I would say under 85 degrees under a high load is about normal. Over 85 if your room is really hot.
My r9 290 (which is the same GPU(nearly)) reaches around a max of 82 degrees when my whole system is under load. That's in an NZXT h440 which does not have the greatest airflow.
Heck I have 2 of these cards and temps can jump up even more up to maybe ~86, and the bottom card 76 degrees.
This is all in Summer as well at the moment, my room is about 35-40 degrees at times.

So yes, your card should be fine. I would say under 85-90 would be fine (FOR THE CARD).
However my biggest problem is the actual card heating my room even more. It's already summer at 40 degrees, the card can heat my room even more.

What I do is open windows so that the 40 degree air from outside keeps the room 40 degrees ;)

edit: Also another good thing to do, if you do buy this card. Is install MSI AB or Sapphire Trixx to create a custom fan curve. If you're not annoying by noise really make those fans spin at high temps.
-good luck
