upgrading old pc NEED HELP !!!

ok so im getting 600 dollars this month and i was wondering if i should get a i7 4790k , 16gb ram 1866 , msi z97 gaming 5 motherboard and stay with the same graphics card (750ti FTW) but i really want to upgrade my gpu

No, that cpu is not worth if you plan to use that gpu. I reccomend downgrading to an i5 4690k or lower end i7 so you have more room for a gpu upgrade. WIth you left over money, you should be able to get a 960 or something in the same price range. I would keep the motherboard but lower your ram down to 8. You can always upgrade in the future if necessary.
