Just got a new nvidia gtx 970'g1 gaming and I was wondering what I could do with nvidia 3D vision, how much it would cost, what games or whatever I could use it with and basically what it is?

First of all if you intend to buy a Nvidia 3D vision kit.

You need to have a monitor that can run at 120Hz or 144Hz screen refresh mode.

This is because the system uses active 3D lcd shutter technology for the glasses you wear.
The left and right eye of the glasses run or alternate switching and blanking of each eye 60Hz a second for each eye.

So the monitor has to run at 120Hz refresh rate, or above.

All, or most games you buy, or play be it older or newer titles should work with the 3D Nvidia vision kit if you buy it.

But as I said check to see if your current monitor you are using is capable of 120 or 144Hz scan range for the resolution you wish to play games at Colethelion321.
