hello i have a 6600k and i got a stable 4.4 ghz oc at 1.25v but searching google i see a lot of people using adaptive mode to lower the v core when idle or just basic browsing. my motherboard doesn't seem to have this feature. so my question is. Is running 4.4ghz at 1.25v through my CPU when idle harmful in anyway?
