want to reformat memory on cell phone

i want to do on my fone because i dont know anything about computers hard drie etc please help i want to get all my pictures etc files back to where it was i wished i never pressed format i didnt know till i tryed to check my files thats how i knew they was all gone music etc

If you formatted your phone, and your files were stored on the phone rather than on an SD card, or if they were on an SD card and you formatted that, then they are gone. There is no getting them back except through the most extensive and expensive of recovery processes using a professional recovery service. Unlike a hard drive, it's unlikely you will have anything salvageable using any kind of recovery program.

Once formatted, the data is pretty much done.
