Has my graphics card killed my motherboard or is it more likely to be my Power Supply?

My computer stopped starting a few weeks back. No fans, no display, nothing. I tried a few things to try and determine the cause of the problem, but eventually just took it to a pc repair shop since I didn't have spare parts to test it with. They told me it was the motherboard and ordered me a new one. Once it came they tested it without the graphics card and everything worked fine, but once they added the graphics card in, the computer shut down. They tried it without the gpu again and this time nothing happened.

They told me that the graphics card is broke, and blew the new motherboard as well so they didnt want to test it on anything else. I took the pc back and i've just sent the graphics card to the manufacturer as its still under warranty. I've also just ordered a new motherboard, but i'm unsure whether to continue using the same power supply when the new hardware comes. Could the issue be the power supply as it only failed when more load was added to it, or will it be fine to continue using it?

Thanks in advance.

The CX series from Corsair (except the 430watt) is considered,at least here,a bad line from them yes.If you can go for another psu would that be the best option right now.
It's the part where when it needs to give more power, adding the gpu, that makes me say this.

Don't have another psu unfortunately. Is this a bad psu? I might just buy a better psu and attempt to RMA this.
