Hi all,

I'm about to buy parts for a simple PC system. The task it will be doing is internet/email/homebanking, that's mostly it. So nothing high end. However I want this PC to stay viable for a long time.

Budget is around $600, but if cheaper is possible, that would be nice!

I already selected the parts, but would love to hear some comments of some of you. I will list the parts below, and the details of the build in what follows.

Details

  • ■ Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: end of this month
    ■ Budget Range: 600 (can be less, not really more)
    ■ System Usage from Most to Least Important: surfing the internet, bankig, email, youtube
    ■ Are you buying a monitor: No
    ■ Do you need to buy OS: Yes (will be windows 10 OEM)
    ■ Location: Belgium (but doesnt really matter, since I can search for equivallents of suggestions if need be)
    ■ Parts Preferences: intel CPU (preferrably skylake)
    ■ Overclocking: No
    ■ SLI or Crossfire: No
    ■ Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 fullhd
    ■ Additional Comments: pc must be quite quiet and would love if it is not too big

Nice, thank you for your quick reaction. I was not sure about that PSU. Read a lot about how SeaSonic is a good manufacturer and is the manufacturer of a lot of the more known brands, but I didn't really know which one to pick then.

I wrote the xfx 450w down!
