Looking for ideas and/or help with my CPU cooling solution

Right now, I've got an adequate fairly low profile cooler on my 4690K, keeping everything going alright, but making a fair bit of noise in doing so.... and I'm hoping to find some kind of AIO watercooler to replace it.... but here's the catch: I don't really feel like replacing my case, just to create space for an AIO... so I'm looking for an AIO that fits EXACTLY within the dimensions of a regular 120mm fan space on the case... it's Mini-ITX, I've pretty much used up all space except that space... and about 130mm of vertical space right beneath it... and perhaps some small extra space on the rear of the case, to just about fit some tubing into the radiator... so far, the only AIO I managed to find is this one: Zalman Reserator 3 Max

Would this AIO be a viable option? Does anyone know of any different solutions to this problem?

I'd love to find out anything I can, even if it means I'll be giving up on my OC chances (running on an MSI H81I MOBO right now, looking to replace that sometime late this year or early next year)

from a German review, it seems that a standard 120mm radiator would fit.

With 150mm clearance, there are a number of good downdraft coolers, like the RAIJINTEK Pallas or the Noctua C12 or eve C14 that would fit. If there is some reson why not can you post a photo and detailed measurements.

Here's a picture of the inside of my case, and you can clearly see the issue I'm having right now.... If possible, I'd like to add that radiator without interfering with the components that are already in there... When I fit the top cover on the case, the 120mm fan at the rear has no issues with clearance, hence my wish to try and stay within the confines of that space

Also, sadly, my specific mobo doesn't allow for the C14 :(

Also also, I'm ready to take that 80mm fan at the back out, to free up some extra space for the tubing and such

welp, that didn't go according to plan.... after getting sick, I've finally gotten around to taking a look at this... this doesn't seem to be a good solution for my specific problem... however, I did get some ideas during the process, so that's already a great thing :)

I thank you for your time, I have some options that need some serious thought :)

Yes, my apologies... I'm afraid I can't offer anything concrete yet... but I believe I'll be able to get a slim radiator in the case, although I might have to replace the HDD with a 2.5" version... but sadly, I'm unable to test it in the near future... because of monetary restrictions (I had enough money available to purchase just the radiator... but realising the potential issues, I'll wait a while longer, to save up to cover any unforeseen costs)

Let us know. I still thin an air cooler will be a better solution, if you can find one that fits. Slim will help you in one dimension, but you mentioned

AIO that fits EXACTLY within the dimensions of a regular 120mm fan space on the case

so what about the other two dimensions? With the pipes, all radiators I know of are larger than the fan that fits on them.
